Well I never stayed in this hotel but I have eaten at the restaurant and been by the bar many times and the owner was a gentleman and gave me his internet connection when nobody would in town,all I can tell you its a great hotel well run …

Nice hotel. We had a family room with 3 kids. Good beds and the staff provided a free baby cod. Breakfast is very simple but good. From the hotel it is a little walk to the centre of barrea. (with many steps :)
Excellent experience, excellent structure, excellent service. The owners are honest, friendly, extremely helpful people with attention to the customer that is difficult to find in other structures. They are available to personally book places in restaurants, ski lessons for children and in some periods, accompany children on excursions. They accept dogs and pay attention to them too.
A round of applause goes to Mr. Antonio Coluzzi, director and owner of the facility (as well as an excellent chef) and to Mrs. Najat, who are tireless and make the customer feel "at home".
The bar has several tables where you can relax and enjoy drinks in peace. You can let your children play various board games to spend time and have fun.
The director is also always ready to recommend the best trekking routes to do and what to visit.
Congratulations also to Mr. Giuseppe, who tirelessly supports the aforementioned in the activities and needs of the structure, as well as in customer service, with his courtesy and friendliness. Always available and attentive to customer needs.

Our request to eat the bean soup was accepted: impeccable cuisine in the preparation of simple, traditional local and tasty dishes.
The exceptional welcome of Mrs. Nadia, precious in maintaining the tradition of our Epiphany.
Trekking and excursion experience among the wonderful landscapes even without snow.

In an enchanting place in the heart of the Natural Reserve of the Abruzzo National Park, overlooking the wonderful Lake Barrea, there is a family-run hotel in typically mountain style, made of wood. Superlative staff: from the very kind ladies of the rooms, to the impeccable Director and Chef Antonio, to the very sweet and cheerful Director/receptionist Najat (Nadia), not to mention the SuperHero, the very nice and extremely helpful, as well as professional Head of Sala Giuseppe; everyone is always ready to give you advice, satisfy every need and fulfill every slightest desire, just to make you happy.
